The dream is finally a reality.
The show will be called “Huckabee.” I’m sure the name will make it easy for all of you to find it. “Huckabee” will air this Saturday and Sunday at 8 PM Eastern time on Fox News Channel.
I’m happy about this. First, it will keep him out of the possible McCain administration and lessen his chances at a successful 2012 White House run. Second, just imagine the soundbite ammunition he will provide for rival candidates during the course of doing a show that covers a host of topics, politics included, if he does indeed decide to make another run for office. He does, after all, stick his foot in his mouth somewhat routinely.
Huckabee must not become the face of the Republican party. His religion-driven fiscal liberalism is an anathema to conservatism, and his tendency to play dirty is just not very palatable.
